The G240 allows for gaming using low-DPI settings, which helps with moderate resistance when using rapid mouse movement. The cloth surface of the mat is heat-treated at 200 degrees Celsius to create the perfect amount of friction for low-DPI manoeuvres.
Heavy patterns and designs can interfere with sensor performance so the G240 features a clean, consistent surface texture. This allows for enhanced sensor accuracy and precision, an improvement over inconsistent or dirty surfaces. The soft fabric improves comfort as the wrist moves back and forth across the mouse pad’s edge.
The rubber base is firmly bonded to the cloth which helps keep the flexible surface in place to prevent the cloth from bunching up in front of the mouse and interfering with mouse movement.
